With no formal training in fashion, I decided to teach myself how to sew using my wife’s sewing machine. I sourced fabrics from a local jobber, sketched custom patterns by hand, and began experimenting. Every detail mattered to me, and I poured hours into perfecting my vision. The very first Alial Fital polo was entirely handmade by me, a labor of love and a reflection of my dedication to creating something unique and personal.

Bo Van Pelt and the PGA Tour
The trajectory of Alial Fital changed forever in 2012 when I received an email from Bo Van Pelt, a PGA Tour player who had taken notice of my designs. Bo expressed interest in wearing Alial Fital on tour, and that partnership became a pivotal moment for the brand.
That year, Bo had one of the best seasons of his career, and Alial Fital gained national and international recognition. Bo’s victory at the CIMB Classic and his hole-in-one at the Masters Tournament—while wearing his signature pink Alial Fital polo—are moments I’ll never forget. I personally managed his wardrobe, curating head-to-toe style recommendations for every round of golf he played that year. Watching Bo’s success and seeing my designs in action on such a prestigious stage was surreal and deeply gratifying.
