Mauro Golmarvi & his wonderful wife Connie recently reached out to me. The directive was two fold - celebrate Mauro's 25th year helming Assaggio's in Seattle & provide a framework for his future solo endeavors

My goal after my research centered around putting Mauro front and center. His customers knew him a certain way - how could I present that in a mark? His warm embrace, big smile, and signature specs were all part of the story.

I ended up hand drawing his face with a primary focus on his frames and big smile. The final branding & mark is a concise and strong embodiment of the Mauro I've gotten to know.
