Paddle, Wait, Create
I've heard numerous interviews by some of my favorite creators / artists where this concept of being available for the ideas is central to the creative process. Putting yourself in the right position is so important.
The inspiration for this piece was to try and capture that essence but in a field I have little hope of success in - surfing. What can I say I paddled out but I certainly didn't create. Couldn't get 6 foot 5 on the board as easily as I needed to.
