Wedding Graphic & Design
One of the unexpected perks of opening @gibranseattle 8 months was the cool and rad people that I’ve met who’ve come in to check out the designs.
Speaking of which a terrific pair of humans got engaged in between their first and second visits to the shop (😉 I was pushing for it to happen after meeting them during their first visit- not taking credit tho 😂😂). Anyways when they surprised me during their second visit with the news that they had gotten engaged I was super happy for them. Even further I was thrilled when they asked me if I wanted to design something creative for the wedding. After learning more about the venue (Volunteer Park Conservatory) I came up with this design to commemorate the special day. We ended up doing custom art prints / totes / signage using the graphic for the day.
Wanting to take a shot at wedding photography they graciously - along with their awesome wedding photographer - allowed me to tag along and take some photos at their reception.
Not having done it before and also not having the pressure of capturing anything in particular I was able to free flow and think of things outside the box that might be of value to them at some point in life.
Heres to the happy couple - their generosity - and faith in me being a part of their special day.
